VALDOSTA – A chairman and vice chairman have been elected by the Lowndes County School Board.

During Tuesday’s scheduled meeting, Brian Browning was elected as chairman, and Mike Davis was elected as vice chair.

The board also approved the acquisition of new school buses and laptop computers, the resurfacing of tennis courts and the leasing of a pecan orchard at Lowndes Middle School.
