LAKE PARK — Beginning Saturday, December 18th, law enforcement from 12 counties and 39 agencies will converge on Lake Park in an orchestrated effort to curb dangerous driving.
As part of the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety Zero Tolerance campaign, officers will “saturate” the Lake Park area in search of impaired drivers or other causes of highway fatalities. The office stated fatalities on Georgia Highways are up 19% over this point in 2014 and they intend on doing something about it.
There will be a meeting at the Lake Park Church of Christ on Saturday, December 11, as part of the Southern Region Traffic Enforcement Network.
