DOUGLAS — Reports from Coffee County state two people have been found dead in what is now a double homicide investigation.

WALB is reporting the investigation is centered around the Meadow Brook Lane area of Coffee County.

The report states deputies with the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office arrived at 38 Meadow Brook Lane Thursday morning and found a dead man and woman inside the home.  They then contacted investigators from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to assist.  As of this report, they have not determined when the incident occurred.

No names have been released by authorities and no arrests have been made so far.
