ALBANY — An incident which occurred on a cruise ship in international waters has a south Georgia man on trial in Albany.

Britt Scarborough, a recent high school graduate of Pelham, is being charged by Federal Prosecutors in Albany Federal Court on sexual abuse charges.

Prosecutors claim Scarborough took advantage of an intoxicated woman while on his Pelham High School senior cruise in 2014.  He is being charged by Federal Prosecutors because the incident occurred in international waters and will be tried in Federal Court.
