VALDOSTA — The Georgia State Patrol issued their monthly highway safety report for September.

Sergeant First Class Jeromy Roberts reported the Valdosta Post 31 had to investigate 110 accidents during the month resulting in 53 injuries and 2 deaths.

In addition to normal traffic-related activities, the post also reported apprehending 1 wanted fugitive and making 5 drug-related arrests during the month.

The GSP reminds drivers to use caution when traveling, especially in inclement weather or during times of reduced visibility.
