VALDOSTA — Valdosta Police responded to a stabbing at a Valdosta apartment complex.

Thursday, officers were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 2500 block of Forrestwood Drive in Valdosta.

They found a victim who received injuries to his left arm from what appeared to be an edged weapon, such as a knife. The victim was taken to South Georgia Medical Center by ambulance. His injuries are not life threatening according to police.

An investigation revealed that the victim got into argument with his live-in girlfriend, Linda Scurry. The investigation revealed that Scurry cut the victim with the knife which she obtained from the home.

Scurry was arrested for aggravated assault and was transported to the Lowndes County Jail.
