VALDOSTA — The Valdosta Police Department has obtained arrest warrants related to the armed robbery of the MS Food Mart on East Park Avenue.

Warrants for Alford Woods, 33 of Valdosta, were issued related to charges of armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Woods is accused of entering the store over the previous weekend and pointed a small handgun at the store clerk.  He demanded money and cigarettes.  The clerk complied and the suspect fled on foot.
