VALDOSTA — Two teens have been charged in connection with the armed robbery and auto theft of a Valdosta resident earlier this week.

A 16-year old juvenile has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Armed Robbery, Hijacking a Motor Vehicle, Criminal Damage to Property, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, and Obstruction.  A second person, William David Casey White, 18 of Valdosta, is also being sought in the case.  White is being charged with Aggravated Assault Party to the Crime, Armed Robbery Party to the Crime, Hijacking a Motor Vehicle Party to the Crime, Criminal Damage to Property, and Obstruction.

These arrests are in connection with an armed robbery and auto theft which occurred Wednesday night in the 100 block of Mary Street.  A Valdosta woman arrived at her home and as she entered her porch to unlock her house, she was approached by the two suspects demanding money at the point of a handgun.  They also demanded the victim’s keys and drove away in her vehicle.
