TIFTON — Reports out of Tifton state two arrests have been made related to two Spas being used for sexual purposes.

Tifton Sheriff Gene Scarborough noted in reports Thursday that complaints have been received related to the spas exchanging sex acts for money.  Undercover agents were sent to the Royal Spa, located at 3313 Highway 82 West and the #1 Spa, located at 3119 Central Avenue in Tifton.  While receiving services, the undercover agents were offered sex acts for money, which is against the law.

Arrested, according to reports, was Myong Chun Toups, 59, arrested at the Royal Spa and charged with masturbation for hire.

Also arrested was Ho Suk Kim, 51, arrested at the #1 Spa and charged with masturbation for hire.

Both suspects were taken to the Tift County Jail, where they were released on bond later Thursday, according to reports.

Sheriff Scarbrough is seeking to have the business licenses of the spas revoked through the Sheriff’s Office working with code enforcement officials.

“Enforcing these type crimes are difficult and mostly require citizen complaints to get an investigation started, as in this case. I thank our citizens for being observant and making the calls that can make a difference in the safety of our community. We can’t do it without your support,” the sheriff said in a report.
