JENNINGS – A suspect was arrested Tuesday in connection with a Sunday morning house fire that left one person dead.  The incident occurred at 2986 NW 22nd Blvd. in Jennings. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office reported Jonard Edmund Banks, 21, was arrested in Charlton County.

Banks is charged with arson and burglary of an occupied dwelling while armed. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail and is being held without bond.
