VALDOSTA — Valdosta Police are asking for information related to a robbery which occurred Wednesday.

Wednesday evening, Valdosta Police Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Jones Street in reference to a robbery. Upon arrival, officers met with several victims who reported they were gathered outside when an unknown suspect, wearing some sort of mask and carrying a shotgun, ran up to them.

The victims reported to police that the suspect demanded that everyone get on the ground and hand over their money. Once they complied, the suspect fled the scene on foot with an unknown amount of money.

None of the victims suffered injuries. The investigation into the robbery continues.
