VALDOSTA — Valdosta Police have released the name of the suspect wanted in the shooting of Anthony Barber, whose body was discovery Monday.

The body of Barber, 25 of Valdosta, was found dead in the backyard of a house, riddled with gunshot wounds.  The body was found by neighbor who called 911.

The house is in the 1700 block of Ricardo Street, Valdosta. The victim sustained several gunshot wounds to the torso.

At this time, authorities are searching for Timothy Jerome Wiggins, 25 of Valdosta, related to the death.  He is facing charges of homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
