UPDATE: ALBANY — The Lee County Sheriff’s Office reported one person dead and one injured after a physical altercation. The altercation was between multiple people at a home on 781 Flowing Road.

The victim, 50-year-old Kent Adam died during the altercation and his son, 22-year-old James Calvin Adam was injured.

Seven people were taken into custody, two of them are juveniles. Charges are pending at this time.

Adam refused medical help upon arrival to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. His son, James was treated for his injuries and has already been released.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation are investigating at this time.

The second person’s condition is unknown.
