VALDOSTA — A man was arrested for burglarizing a home on Tuesday. Valdosta police officials received a call reporting a burglary taking place at a home on Crestwood Circle.
Police found the burglar, 33-year-old Christopher Tooley in a yard near Fallingleaf Lane and Bradley Avenue.
Tooley broke into the home, stole the resident’s clothing and fled the scene.
Tooley was wanted for multiple arrest warrants including; two Aggravated Assault charges, Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Felony.
Officials had been searching for Tooley after a shooting on March 11, at the Liberty Gas Station on 17074 North Forrest Street.
