VALDOSTA, GA – Whether it is for your family, health, or favorite charity organization, the Valdosta Junior Services League invites you to “Just Move It” at the annual Dosta Dash 5K, 10K & Fun Run on March 22, 2014.
The 5K & 10K races will begin at 8:00 am and the 1 Mile Fun Run will begin at 9:30 am. T-shirts will be given to all runners on race day, while supplies last. Awards will be given to the overall male & female finisher in each race, as well as the male and female first and second place winners in each category. The 10K is part of the 2014 Grand Prix.
Registration forms are available at R&S Sports, 3122 N. Oak St. Ext., Valdosta, GA, or you may register online at www.runningintheusa.com. Day-of-race registration will begin at 7:00 am at the Converse-Dalton-Ferrell House located at 305 North Patterson Street.
Registration fee for the 5K and 10K is $20 per person before March 9 and $25 after that date. Fun Run is $10 per person before March 9 and $15 after that date. There is a race discount for families of four: $55 before March 9 and $60 after. All proceeds from the race benefit the many community organizations and programs assisted by the VJSL.
Pre-registered runners can pick up race packets at the Converse Dalton Ferrell House on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 5-7p.m. Race packets can also be picked up March 22nd at the Converse Dalton Ferrell House between 7:00 and 7:45 a.m.
