Bowling-BallsVALDOSTA, GA – The Literacy Volunteer Program of South Georgia (LVPSG) is pleased to announce that the Literacy Bowl is taking place on Saturday, April 26, at Jac’s Lane on 406 Connell Rd.

As an organizational member of ProLiteracy, the LVPSG believes every adult has a right to literacy. The program develops and promotes adult literacy learning, content, programs and advocacy to help adult learners.  Their purpose is to provide resources to improve the literacy landscape of South Georgia.  One of the ways the LVPSG supports this program is with a bi-annual fundraiser called the Literacy Bowl.

The cost per person is $25 each for 3 games of ‘9 Pin No Tap’, a bowling ball, & shoes. A team of 5 bowlers only pays $100.  Check in time is at 12:00 p.m, with bowling beginning at 1:00pm.  There will also be door prizes, awards and a silent auction.(229) 333-7515 or email lvpinvaldosta@gmail.com.

You may form more than one team so no one gets left out of the fun.  The LVPSG is asking everyone to please wear blue in support of Literacy and come ready to have some fun.
