$1 Million in Damage to Shiloh Farm Facility

fire flames RAY CITY, GA – A local pecan farm caught fire late Sunday night. It is believed the Shiloh Farm processing plant’s dryer bins caught fire after small debris or dust ignited during the drying process. The Ray City Volunteer Fire department, New Lois Volunteers, Nashville Fire Department, and Lowndes County Fire Department all helped battle the blaze. The estimated damage to the facility is $1 million.
