street fight MOULTRIE, GA – A man in Moultrie claims he was assaulted outside his home on Wednesday, October 23. Jeremy Edwards reported Thursday he was attacked Wednesday night by two men while sitting outside his residence. Edwards claimed two men approached him and one hit him in the face before fleeing in a nearby car with two other men.

Alex Williams, Edwards’ cousin, told police he was sitting beside Edwards when the assault supposedly took place, but he saw nothing. Williams says he saw the three men, but did not see them hit his cousin.

Edwards did have a bloody nose and swelling of his left eye. He could identify the assailant, but not the other men with him.
