VALDOSTA, GA – On Monday, Nov. 4th, Valdosta Railway will begin repairs to the railroad track on Airport Road. Due to the nature of the repairs, Airport Road will be closed between Old Clyattville Road and Clarence S. Parker Drive from Nov. 4th to the 6th. Valdosta Regional Airport patrons will not be able to access Airport Road from Old Clyattville Road. Traffic will be detoured up to Gil Harbin Industrial Boulevard, south on Madison Highway, then right onto Airport Road. Motorists leaving the airport parking lot may only turn right onto Airport Road during the track repairs. For more information contact the city’s Engineering Department at (229) 259-3530.
