Valdosta High School teacher Randell Owens has resigned after being arrested for battery on a student. The Valdosta Police Department arrested Owens after investigating an incident at Valdosta High School where Owens and a student were involved in a physical altercation. Owens was arrested and released on bail and has resigned from VHS after being placed on administrative leave.
