Columbia County, FL- A 22-year old Lake City man has died after police say he lost control of his pickup truck late Monday night. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 22-year old Blake Milliken failed to negotiate a curve on SW Haltiwanger Road, about 10 miles south of Lake City around 9:45 Monday night.

His 2007 Chevy truck went off the roadway into nearby woods, where it struck a large tree. Milliken was pronounced dead en route to an area hospital- troopers say the 22-year old was not buckled up at the time of the crash.
