Valdosta, GA- Police have made a third arrest in connection with last weekend’s shooting death of 22-year old Robert Pett. An arrest warrant was issued late last week for 20-year old Kathryn Cortez- she turned herself in Friday on a charge of armed robbery.

The investigation into Pett’s death revealed that Cortez was involved in the incident. She was familiar with the other two offenders in the case, Michael Pindling and Deron Wallace, who have both been charged and arrested involving the death of Pett.

Pindling and Wallace have been returned to Lowndes County from Savannah and are currently being held at the Lowndes County Jail at this time.
