Police in Valdosta are investigating a string of weekend car break-ins that stretched from Bemiss Road over to Inner Perimeter Road. Eight break-ins were reported over the weekend, four at the Tremont Village Apartments, with the other four reported in residential neighborhoods and the Wal-Mart on Perimeter.

Investigators say they believe the crimes are related. As always, police remind residents to keep valuables out of sight in your car. The thieves were able to get away with a number of GPS units, cell phones, and cash.
