FHPTroopervehicle editLive Oak, FL- Two Live Oak residents are at Shands Hospital in Gainesville following two separate accidents on Monday. The first happened near the intersection of US-90 and 149th Road around 5:15am. An FHP report states 25-year old Carlos Pacheco lost control of his 2000 Nissan Sentra, causing the vehicle to strike a tree head-on. He was taken to Shands in serious condition.

The other wreck occurred around 11 last night along 119th Road. 18-year old Mario Domingo was traveling north on 119th road when he drifted into the southbound lanes. He overcorrected, causing the 1999 Buick to spin out before hitting a tree. He was transported by helicopter to Shands in critical condition.
