Live Oak, FL- A 65-year old Live Oak man has died after police say he lost control of his motorcycle on US-90 Saturday evening. A report from the Florida Highway Patrol says William Shiver was riding his 2006 Harley westbound on US-90 at a high rate of speed when he approached an unknown vehicle.
The bike began to skid, striking the other car on the bumper. Shiver was thrown from the bike and pronounced dead on the scene.
Troopers are looking for the other car in this incident, described as a grey/green compact sedan. That vehicle kept going and failed to stop after the accident. Anyone with information on this crash is asked to call the FHP.
