marijuana pot plantsTift County, GA- Over $120,000 in cash was seized this month as part of a multi-agency drug sting. Officials with the Lowndes and Tift County Sheriff’s Offices conducted an undercover investigation in which they posed as top-level dealers looking to unload large amounts of marijuana.

On the 7th, 36-year old Daniel Eubanks went to purchase 50 pounds of pot from undercover Lowndes deputies. When he arrived to make the purchase, he was taken into custody. A search warrant was issued for Eubanks’ Tift County home, where drug task force agents found evidence of a large marijuana operation.

Investigators found large Rubbermaid-style containers with marijuana residue as well as storage containers with pot residue. In the house, agents also discovered $121,000 in cash.  Eubanks is behind bars in Lowndes County and has been charged with marijuana trafficking.
