A pair of Valdosta teenagers are behind bars after a weekend break-in at New Century Outdoors on Bemiss Road. Police responded to the store around 4am Saturday after a burglar alarm was activated.

19-year old Emmanuel Bryant was caught in a brief chase when police arrived- his partner in crime, 18-year old Blake Thomas was arrested later in the morning.

Law enforcement officials said the two had taken a number of rifles and handguns and had hidden them around the business when police arrived- investigators say the pair could be responsible for a number of other recent burglaries, as well.
