Protesters have gathered everyday for two weeks in downtown Valdosta to demand answers in the death of Kendrick Johnson, 17.
Johnson’s body was found inside a wrestling mat in the Lowndes High old gym in January.
A preliminary autopsy report indicated there were no signs of foul play, but Johnson’s family believe he was murdered. Protesters have been holding up a graphic photo said to be of Johnson after his death. The family believe the photo is proof that their son was murdered.
The official autopsy and toxicology test have not been released. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation say those reports will be completed
within the next two to three weeks.
