Masters’ Green Jacket Heading Down Under

Share with friends

golf 1For the first time in Masters history, the famous green jacket will be heading to the Land Down Under after Aussie Adam Scott defeated Argentina’s Angel Cabrera in a two-hole playoff.

Scott thought he had the green jacket in hand after nailing down a 20-foot birdie putt on the 18th, only to see Cabrera knock a 7-iron within 3 feet of the pin to force a playoff.

On the second playoff hole, Cabrera made par after a 15-foot birdie putt scraped the right edge of the cup, but failed to drop. That miss left Scott with a 12-foot putt for birdie, which, once it fell into the hole, saw him become the first Australian to put on the green jacket.
