VALDOSTA – Health clinic hours and services will be limited this week due to the effects of Helene.

Our goal is to continue to serve our communities as best as we possibly can, however, due to staffing limitations and communications struggles, clinic hours and services (including children’s programs and WIC) will be EXTREMELY limited this week.
WIC will conduct all services virtually this week. WIC clients should not come into their local health department 9/30/2024-10/4/2024, even if the clinic is open. WIC clients will be contacted by staff directly, however due to limited staff and communications access, please expect these calls to come in outside of your scheduled appointment date/time.
Our Environmental Health Specialists are working diligently across the district and will not be in their offices. Anyone seeking Environmental Health services directly should contact Lowndes County Health Department’s EH office at 229-245-2314.
