VALDOSTA, Ga.— Southern Hound Club’s Saralyn Wallace is now among few others in our area to earn the title of a Certified Professional Dog Trainer.

According to the Certification Coucil for Professional Dog Trainers, a dog trainer must have knowledge “based on the science of animal behavior… [and] hands-on experience… training other people’s dogs” to be distinguished as a CPDT.

Saralyn Wallace operates the Southern Hound Academy, a 4-week comprehensive program that owners can customize to their dog’s specific needs.
