VALDOSTA, Ga. – Get a Mammy Inc. (GAM), a non-profit organization that provides funds for mammograms to women in financial need, is celebrating their 9th year and are hosting a 5K in Hahira on September 28.
GAM has helped over 300 men/women obtain Mammograms and/or screenings and out of these patients, several have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
Early registration for the race, which ends on September 17, is $20 per person and $50 per family.
Late Registration, September 18-27, is $25 per person and $55 family rate.
On Race Day, the prices jump to $30 and $65.
The race also offers “Men’s Walk a Lap in her Shoes” which is for men only and $15 dollars.
As a race incentive, all participants pre-registered by Sept. 17 are guaranteed a Thermal Tumbler/Mug and will receive their Tumbler/MUG on race day with help from Lee Container of Homerville, Griner Medical, Winn Dixie 5 Points, Warner HVAC and Aquafina.
