VALDOSTA, GA – Valdosta Mall is creating a wonderland of sights and sounds this holiday season with a full schedule of family-friendly events and entertainment.
Classic holiday movies are a great way to get into the spirit of the season. Each Saturday night from November 30 through December 21, families can bring their blankets & lawn chairs and enjoy a holiday ‘Movie on the Plaza’. Movies start at 6:30 p.m. and are free to the public. Visit shopvaldostamall.com for movie titles.
The holiday movie series is just one way Valdosta Mall will be Spreading the Cheer. The center is also creating a family atmosphere by offering a variety of festive holiday entertainment. During the Sounds of the Season performance program, area schools, and community groups will provide entertainment for shoppers to get everyone in the spirit of the season. Groups will perform are: VHS Jazz Ensemble on December 5 at 6:30 p.m., Valwood Voices, December 10 at 6:30 p.m., Tuba Christmas, December 14 at 4:30 p.m. and Lowndes Middle School Chorus December 17 at 6:30 p.m. All performances, except the LMS Chorus, will be in the Belk wing. LMS students will perform on the plaza.
Santa Clause has arrived at Valdosta Mall and families can create a lasting holiday memory with a special photo with Santa and his woodland friends. Visit Santa Clause Monday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Sears Wing with two breaks daily to feed the reindeer.
Santa is also meeting & greeting his furry friends Monday, December 2 & Monday, December 9 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Sears wing. We are happy to provide two opportunities to make your holiday memories complete with a special photo of your pet with Santa. All animals must be crated or leashed and must enter through the main mall entrance at Sears. Santa will only see pets during this designated time.
