VALDOSTA, GA – On Saturday October, 19th, Lowndes High School hosted the “Battle on the Border” marching band competition at Martin Stadium. High school marching bands from Alabama, Florida, and Georgia all competed in the competition. Bands are placed in two divisions based on their size classification,in particular the amount of wind players in the band, Silver Division and Crimson Division. Bands win in these divisions and also are rated overall in the competition.
