The American Red Cross will be hosting a blood drive at V-Town music store,2019 North Ashley Street on Friday, June 21st from 1:30 pm- 6:30 pm. Not only will there be free hot dogs but there will be a drawing for two tickets to one concert night at the Essence Music Festival 2013 with a $100 dollar gas card. Donate blood in order to be entered into the drawing.

The Essence Festival takes place annually in New Orleans at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. the festival will last from July 4-July 7, 2013.  Artists such as Beyonce, Charlie Wilson, Maxwell, Brandy, Rachelle Ferrell and TGT (Tank, Genuwine and Tyrese) are just a few artists on a vast list set to blaze the stage. There will also be appearances from speakers, panelists and comedians such as Tommy “Nephew Tommy” Miles.
