THOMASVILLE, Ga. – Police say that a man who acted as an authority figure is now being charged with human trafficking, aggravated sodomy, aggravated assault and cruelty to children.

According to WALB, 22-year-old Marsella Miles pretended to be a law enforcement officer as he took the 17-year-old victim from the family residence. Miles threatened the family with prosecution if they did not follow his orders.

The next day, the victim was found and Miles has been arrested.

Police say that this is not the first time that Miles has impersonated a police officer.
