VALDOSTA – With Hurricane Michael coming through, a lot of places have opened to hurricane evacuees.

Here is an updated list of Red Cross shelters and county-operated/community shelters that are currently open, opened Wednesday and are opening tomorrow.

  South Bibb Center, 7034 Houston Rd Macon OPEN
  Shirley Winston Rec Center, 5025 Steam Mill Rd., Columbus OPEN
Central Square Complex, 200 South Madison Ave., Douglas, GA   *OPENS TONIGHT AT 6 PM*

New Covenant Church, Hwy 19, Thomasville, Opening Thursday as a Post Impact Time-TBD
