ADEL, GA – A Cook County Jail detention officer has been arrested for inappropriate behavior with inmates. Bobbie Gail Moore, 39, was arrested at her home in Hahira and charged with giving false statements to a government agency, a felony. The arrest comes after an internal investigation by the Cook County Sheriff’s office into allegations of inappropriate behavior from Cook County Jail inmates. Moore was processed and booked at the Cook County Jail, but was then transported to a neighboring agency for bonding procedures. Moore was a detention officer with the sheriff’s office for six months. Her employment has been terminated according to the Cook County Sheriff’s Department.
