ATLANTA – Georgia Insurance Commissioner Jim Beck has been indicted by a federal grand jury Tuesday, May 14, 2019 on 38 counts alleging fraud.

Beck has worked in various positions in state government. Over the past few decades the Republican has been well known at the Capitol, both as a representative of the Georgia Christian Coalition and as an insurance lobbyist.

He was elected insurance commissioner last year.
