A Moultrie woman who was indicted in the September 2012 death of her husband has pled guilty to a charge of involuntary manslaughter. Cynthia Alderman was allegedly driving recklessly on the night of September 1st when she struck her husband with her vehicle. Police said the woman left the scene after striking him- he was found dead later in the day.

Alderman was indicted on a vehicular homicide charge after the state argued that she was “committing another crime during her husband’s death because she was driving recklessly.”

Her sentencing is scheduled for October 2nd.
