Today marks the one year anniversary for local restaurant Bubba Jax Crab Shack. Late this afternoon, Chamber Ambassadors and workers at Bubba Jax Crab Shack gathered to celebrate a great first year.

“We would like to congratulate you guys on joining the Chamber it’s a great thing and it’s a wonderful way to get involved in the community and to see a lot of things come back to you,” said Courtney Matthews, Chamber Ambassador. “We wear our green jackets as a symbol of prosperity which we wish your business. We hope to see you guys prosper from now until eternity.”

After words from Chamber Ambassador, Courtney Matthews; Bubba Jax Crab Shack owner, Brian Banks cut the ribbon cementing the restaurant’s membership into the Chamber. Not only was today their one year anniversary but they also joined the Chamber.

“I think it’s exciting that we made it to the one year mark which was not easy but we made it, said Brian Banks, Bubba Jax Crab Shack owner. “I think joining the chamber will definitely help us get our name out there a little bit more.”
