The Atlanta Hawks have never known success on the road in the playoffs…as evidenced by their all-time record of nearly SIXTY games under .500. Needless to say, that trend continued Wednesday night in the Hawks’ Eastern Conference quarterfinal game against the Indiana Pacers.
David West had a game-high 24, Paul George added 21, and with no Hawk scoring even 15 points, the Pacers cruised to a 106-83 victory at Conseco Fieldhouse.
The Hawks need a win Friday night at Philips Arena to force a Game 7, as the Pacers lead the best-of-7 series 3-2.
