Head coach Mark Richt confirmed that suspension on Tuesday to a Nashville, TN sports radio station. Police were called to a dorm room where Harvey-Clemons and Ty Flournoy-Smith lived after an RA smelled marijuana coming from the room.

No pot was found in the room, but the pair had admitted to smoking the drug prior to the cops’ arrival. Investigators found a digital scale and a plastic baggie, but no physical evidence of any drugs.

The UGA Athletic Association’s marijuana-use policy calls for a suspension of 10 percent of competition dates for a first-time violation, which would translate to one game.

Georgia opens the 2013 season August 31st at Clemson.
