Valdosta, GA- Oklahoma native Ryan Spears will go into the clubhouse atop the leaderboard Thursday at the South Georgia Classic. Spears birdied his first three holes on the back nine, on the way to a 6-under par 66.

Philip Pettit, Jr, Troy Merritt, and Bhavik Patel are tied at 5-under par.
