ATLANTA, GA – Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens said estimated insured losses in Georgia from last week’s winter storm stands at $25 million.
“Data collected by insurance adjusters are now reaching my office,” Hudgens said. “We anticipate that figure to rise as new claims are reported.”
The estimate was based on claims reported by various property and casualty insurance companies. Commissioner Hudgens emphasized that these claims reports are only a partial listing, not all companies have reported.
