WASHINGTON (AP)– The White House has directed all government agencies reopen now as the partial government shutdown is over. President Barack Obama signed a measure early Thursday morning reopening the government and expanding the nations borrowing authority. Thousands of government workers have been furloughed since the shutdown began October 1st. The measure signed by President Obama restores government funding through January 15th and extends the borrowing authority through February 7th.
