Three-County Chase Ends With Wreck In Cook County

GSP carA chase that spanned three counties finally ended Monday when police spun out a stolen car. The chase began in Turner County and led police through Tift Counties before finally ending in Cook County.

A report from the Georgia State Police states that police attempted to pull over a Subaru that was clocked going 85 miles per hour in a 70. When a deputy went to perform a traffic stop, the driver took off southbound.

The driver, 22-year old Maurice Sanders and 20-year old Alandrey Brown now face charges that could include grand theft auto. The Subaru in question was reported stolen out of Jacksonville earlier in the week- police also found two handguns in the floorboards of the car.
