A 40-year old Echols County man is behind bars following a raid on a home on John Hampton Road. Police received tips from nearby residents about possible drug activity at the house, and finally received a search warrant late last week.

When Sheriff’s Deputies entered the house, they found 22 grams of cocaine, packaging materials, scales, cutting agents, and over $1000 in cash. Marcus Robinson was taken into custody. He is charged with felony possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute and two counts of felony possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
