For the second time in less than eight months, Mediacom and the parent company of a local TV news station are at impasse over a new contract. As such, Mediacom customers could lose WALB programming by June 30th.
According to WALB’s parent company, Raycom, they have been trying ‘for months’ to reach a new broadcast agreement with Mediacom and have yet to negotiate one successfully.
Those using other service providers (DISH, DirecTV, AT&T) will be unaffected by the carriage dispute.
