Back on March 10, police in Moultrie were called to the 800 block of 12th Street NW in response to a shooting that occurred outside of a nightclub. Two men were shot in that incident, although both eventually recovered from their injuries.
Three weeks after the shooting, Moultrie Police identified 25-year old Darryl Burks as the shooter in the case. It took another three months, but authorities finally got their man on Wednesday.
Investigators confirmed that Burks was taken into custody yesterday, and has now been charged with aggravated assault. More charges could be pending against the 25-year old.
